Dad

This is another template experiment! Loving the templates!!!! Kit is Magnificent Men from http://www.beyondthedistantstar.com. Wish there were a few more elements but then there can never be enough elements for me. I love them. I am gonna go search 4 some more templates before I take my nap.

I am in a better mood now as Dean came home and fixed me steak and shrimp. My very favorite thing (next to chocolate) in the world! Food always seems to cheer me up. Guess that is why I am so fat!

About this layout: This is my Dad. Dad died from I guess heart failure in 2000. It was very very sudden and sent a shockwave through our family. I really didn't think Mom would recover from that but here we are. We made it!!!! The large picture is Dad and Andy. They always had quite a bond. Andy was only 5 when he died but he still has a vivid memory of him. It broke his heart completely and still doesn't like to talk about it. The black and white pics are when Dad was in the Navy. Something he was always very proud of. He was very young here. Not sure of the ages exactly. Some of the things I would like to know..I can no longer ask because he is gone. Life is very gut wrenching sometimes.
