Look closely at the picture to the right. You see the big pink glob on her left side? That would be a wad of bubble gum that fell out of her mouth while sleeping. If you are a blogger frequent you will recall the talk Dean had with her the other night about going to bed with gum. WELP! Just goes to show that we can't be everywhere all the time! Kate was so upset about this. It really wasn't too bad. We ended up having to cut it out but not too much and it isn't visible...or it's not yet! I actually found it all kind of amusing. The whole time I was thinking...PHOTO OP! Got some good ones but probably won't be able to throw them into a LO until this weekend! 2 more LONG nights and then my BELOVED weekend IS FINALLY HERE! Mom and I have a shopping trip planned. We are both pretty excited! Not even sure what I am shopping for yet....just excited to FINALLY be going. My favorite thing in the world is to shop and eat and just being her and I we will be able to go some place nice and sit down and eat. YAY ME!!!!! Been working a lot of hours trying to save up for Christmas and she doesn't get out a lot so WE NEED THIS! I wish we could do it EVERY weekend!Dean went to the doctor yesterday and found out he has strep throat. I have been feeling a little under the weather myself but am trying to forget about it so that I can get through these next couple nights. Dean is off till the 19th. Hopefully we can get some things done around the house this weekend. We need to get prepped for the holiday lighting. That is always a mess and I like to be organized! I have a HEAPING (not exaggerating) pile of clothes needing to be washed calling my name. Andy needs a hair cut, I need to buy Thanksgiving groceries, we need to get caught up on our Netflix movies....all are things to be done on my weekend off. It always goes so fast. Sometimes it seems as if there isn't time to sleep!

too funny about the bubblegum... did you try peanut butter? that usually helps get it out
and...yep, i agree...strep is here in phoenix now too...luckily not in our house....hopefully he gets well soon
Oh my goodness, that happened to me once. I think I was 5. And my dad had one of those vans, with the bed in the back covered in fur. (This is before the seat belt laws.) I had a little fake fur coat on, and really curly hair. We were on our way back from my grandma's (2 hours away) and I fell asleep with the gum in my mouth. It was all in my hair, my fur coat, and all over my dad's fake fur bed in the back of his van. LOL My mom worked a long time with peanut butter to get it all out. LOL
And you are the third post this morning including my own about strep throat. It's going around big time. I hope your hubby gets better quickly!
Sleep? What is that? That's that think that you're supposed to do at night while, in actuality, you're catching up on all the things that you didn't get done during the day, right?
We've never had gum in the hair yet! Thank Goodness! I'm glad you got it out without making her look too awful ;)
