Andy's First Parade

This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago. My baby marched in his first parade. One day maybe he will be the one carrying the flag. The tall handsome guy on the end is mine and the little guy on the other end is Brandon. He is a new scout this year as well and they both went to Camp Geiger and were tent mates for the first time. They both had a blast. Hope Andy continues to build up in the Boy Scouts. It is an AWESOME program and I hope he will go far. Geiger was worth every cent we paid to get him there. Kaitlyn hates it cuz we don't really have a girl scout troup here. Well this year might be different because we will have a new leader. She has been in the scouts the last 2 years but nobody really gets active with it. The leader had a couple meetings and then I never heard from her again. I think it is because a lot of people don't care for this new leader so that could be why there were no girls attending the meetings. Hoping this year is different as I want Kate to be able to go to camp as well!

Vacation is coming quickly. And will probably go quickly as well. I am anxious to get it here and get it over with as odd as that sounds. The last several months have depended on every extra cent we have going toward the trip. We still don't have near as much as I would like to have saved. Hoping we have fun anyway. 6 days, 5 nights??? OH YEAH!!!!! Should be fun, unless Dean goes into one of his zones where he hates everyone and everything. I worried about this last year and everything turned out ok. We only had one memorable spat and I can't even rememeber what that was about! LOLLLL

12 Days and I will be in RELAXATION mode! :)
