Build A Bear

We stumbled onto the Build-A-Bear Workshop at the Science Center in St. Louis. I have always wanted to take my kids to this store but because we live out in the middle of nowhere land we aren't exposed to a lot of neat things like this. Those of you who know about this store know that it can be quite pricey but what an experience it was for us! They each picked out there bear and then the outfit, of course they had to have shoes. Andy picked out a Navy uniform cuz his Grandfather was in the Navy. Kate had to have hair for hers as well and Andy's bear had to have sunglasses. UV rays are HORRIBLE on a bear's eyes! LOLLL After they had all their accessories, they got to sit down and create a birth certificate for their bears. Kate named her bear Candy as she was a cheerleader and Andy named his Thomas. That was my Dad's middle name and is also Andy's as well. Just for fun, check out this website Here. It is fun to look around. Ebay has a HUGE selection of clothes available for the bears as well. Could be an expensive hobby. Dean offered to pay for a bear for myself but I am not one to spend a lot of money on myself so I declined. I also knew that he had NO idea how much it was gonna cost after we got the kids' bears to the register! LOLL Savin my own butt as often as possible! LOLL

This is Kit Floral by Thaty Borqes. Also a beautiful kit. Loved working with it!
