Dean cleaned up our room from top to bottom that we usually put the tree up in. I swear we need more room! Been thinking today about calling and checking on a storage space. They just put a storage complex up in Ravenwood a while back. Thinking we may need it!!!! We have a RIDICULOUS amount of holiday stuff. Mainly Halloween, Easter and of course Christmas.Dean piled all the Christmas storage boxes up in our living room. A suttle hint I spec. It has always been a family tradition to put up Christmas decorations the weekend following Thanksgiving. I guess that is why it feels so odd to be doing it now. I really did intend to get them up this weekend but Mom and I went to St. Joe yesterday to start our Christmas shopping and yesterday we did our Thanksgiving dinner shopping. I think I have everything I need. Dean will be making the turkey, I will be making a couple salads and a couple pies and my Mom will be making the mashed potatoes, giblet gravy (sounds horrible but couldn't imagine Thanksgiving without it!), a couple salads and a couple pies. As far as I know, I am off Thanksgiving day. My employer was sooooooooo nice this year that she didn't even hang out a sheet to let us request the holidays off in the order we wanted them. I tell ya, that place is really going to hell! One of my best friend's may not be back due to an inservice last week that went a little sour! (I wasn't there....but I have heard ALL about it!) Part of me would like to quit too but what an awful time to quit and there is always that Florida vacation I am planning (almost seems unreachable sometimes!!!!) I need my vacation time! If I leave there, I will lose ALL of my benefits! They hired a part time night nurse. Why? I don't know! We don't need her and she is old...like the other 2 we have there! GREAT!!!! They always give me SUCH great helpers!

The kids were pretty psyched this morning to be going to school. Today is their trip to the skating rink. The WHOLE school! They will be having pizza at Cici's in St. Joe! Lucky Ducks!!!! I like to go on their field trips with them and am feeling a little guilty as I sit and type this but the last time I went skating was with the girl scout troup a couple years ago and I thought I was gonna die! I guess it is just a harsh realization that I am getting old?

Oh my gosh. I'm so horrible about getting the tree up. I'll wait til at least the first week of December. Maybe later this year with the baby crawling and getting into stuff. LOL

Second I wanted to say that your LO is totally cute. I LOVE that wire Christmas tree and the Christmas lights around the photos, so fun!!
