Christmas Shoes
My Lord! I haven't seen this movie but it looks like a good one. How cute is Rob Lowe???? This has always been a favorite song of mine. My sister died on Dec. 18th which was 6 days after her daughter's 12th birthday. I always think of them when I hear this song. At the time, my sister and I both worked in nursing at the nursing center for nuns in Atchison. We were very close to the Sisters there and the most memorable call for me was from Sister Patricia Ann. We talked for a long time and then she told me "She gets to spend Christmas with Jesus". In all the tragedy that surrounded us in that time of my life. She couldn't have been more right. A blessing in disguise.

That song always did make me cry and here I have make up on for a change! My heart is with you in this time - these kind of anniversarys are always so hard.
