GOT IT!!!

Dean and I decided it would be a good idea to purchase a new camera for the trip. I have been researching for some time now and have read mostly good things about the Canon Powershot. I worked last night and had been wanting to take Mom out for a meal so I said...TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!

For the most part, I like it. I am still trying to get used to all the different settings. My favorite feature is the color accent. I LOVE to play with photos and I can do this without PSP!!!! WOO-HOO!!! I am trying to get used to the Macro/Digi. macro settings cuz I love close ups. Got a few good ones of Dean's Mom's cake. Yesterday was her last day at work and they threw her a HUGE retirement party with cake and gifts. Dean said he had never seen her so happy. This lady has constantly been battling chronic back pain. Dean takes her to KC to the pain clinic ever so often. If it were me??? I would have drawn disability YEARS ago but she is a fighter. She stuck through till the end!!! Hope that she is FINALLY able to enjoy her long awaited retirement!
